Re-did my rear shock set up tonight. I added a cross member and put them in-board. I used shocks for a semi truck... They should be better than the other ones I had on there. The old ones were binding and got damaged. I havent flexed it to see wheather they bottom out or limit droop yet.

I grenaded my right stub axel and u-joint at mud fest. So, I baught an inner axel, u-jiont and a 35 spline stub from six states last week. I ordered outer axel tube seals from mad4wd.com tonight. I'm gonna wash the truck next week and change the axel when the seals come in.

Thanks for posting for me ,Buzzer. The buggy is pritty much done. Just need some more aluminum diamond plate to finish closing in the hood and side pannels. Studabaker scraps our a refer trailer once in a while and he lets me strip some out before he is done with it. Tried wiring in a GM ign. mod. and couldn't make it run right. Tried puting a 20r points distributor in and effed that all to heck. Wound up installing a toyota ignitor and coil out of an 80 truck and now it runs perfect. So I had it out and played with it a little on the loading ramp at the shop. Robert sent me a pic a little while ago with one tire driven up the back of a semi flat bed trailer. Almost useable now. Gotta work out an air cleaner and a few other small items. Pritty stoked. Wish we could come up with a locker for the front......

I broke the back of the trans. off at mud fest. So, I took in a nother one I had and had it re-built. I just got that all back together. I think it broke because the slip yolk on the front driveline was stuck. I fixed that and made a custom bar that goes from the side of the transfercase to the top pass. side bellhousing bolt. (cheep insurance) The bottom seal in my steering box was leeking realy bad so I finaly drilled one out and tapped it for the hydro assistand modafied the pump to acomodate the rams needs ... Now I just need to mount the ram.

Latest update.. I tore the body off and am putting a 96 s10 4door blazer body on it. I'm having a hard time getting out to work on it. Between family stuff, the cold and some spinal issues I've been dealing with. But it will get done. I think I'll be calling it an s30...

The blazer body didn't work out. I ended up putting a mid 80's standard cab S10 cab on it. I have it at my house now. The shop I had it at isn't available anymore. It's working out really good having it home. A lot more convenient to go out and work on it. I have the cab mounts done. The 4wd shifters through the floor. the floor mudded and boots installed. I mounted the trans shifter to a bracket on the bench seat so that it moves forward and back with the seat. My thoughts were so that the seat can move way forward for my kids to drive. Yet the shifter won't be too far forward to reach with the seat all the way back. I'm moving the radiator to the back of the cab with the battery and the fuel tank. Any suggestions on the rear mounted radiator? I have known people that have done it but with mixed results. Some had overheating issues.

On my old scout I Didnt have many problems with a dual fan set up iI had fans blow warm air at me in winter and go other way in summer. Also used exhaust tube for water lines under rig but tucked them way up. One thing electric water pump would have been better so you could shut off rig and cool it off quick.
