I got the motor ready to drop in and am just waiting for the motor mounts to come. They shipped yesterday. I now have to figure out how I am going to trailer it. I lost my job and the trailer was from work. I have a new job already, but at a lower wage. There is no trailer at this job to borrow either. The suburban is so big that you can't haul it on just any trailer... I hope I don't have to leave it parked untill I can aford to buy a trailer... sorry to hear about your job. you are always welcome to use my trailer when its not being used.

I got it running and had my friend trailer it to my house today. The exaust had a lot of oil in it. It blew a 6 foot wide oil slick onto the floor when it started. Evry thing went well other than it took me an hour to bolt up the power steering pump. I couldn't get the lower front bolt in untill I removed the pulley. (when I finaly found the puller) I just have to double check fluid levels, bolt tightness throughout remount the trans cooler, and install my oil pressure guage when I find it.

not sure yet. The buider told me to run it around 1500rpm for the first 15 min. that is all they said for break in... I gues I already did it.... I been thinking that sand lake is looking pritty fun. There is a mud bog in 6 weeks in Ethel. Not sure but I know I'd like to test and tune it some where, soon. And get it dirty too. It is too prity and shiny.

I am gonna try to get to sand lake maybe sunday the 4th if your heading that way. I need to test and tune a bit. If needed you could try to load your rig on my old trailer.

I found the guages this evening. So, now I just need to decide where I want to put them.

I got the wiring ran for the radio, cb, water temp and oil guages, and the only thing that works is the oil pressure guage. At least the factory water temp and the oil pressure guages work.
