well heres a pic of the truck that I'm parting and the axles are for this, took the bumpers off today and all the bolts were in almost new condition. I am amazed at how good of shape this thing is, theres vary little rust. now its got me thinking about using this frame for under this project, I know I would have to undo some stuff like cut off the front cross member from the blazer frame, but everything else is just bolted on. that way I just leave it as is and not box it in like I was planing with the blazer frame. do you think this would work ok???

I would use it and just put the k5 body on it, that would be cool. Also maybe keep the 6.2l diesel, not a power house but has good torque and you would never have carb. problems.

I do remember possum that you used that 1 ton crew cab frame under yours, it seamed to work out good for you.
the diesel is sold to make back a little cash on the perches of the truck, but I thought about it , it would be neat to change it to vegetable oil.

I never thought about running the veggy oil in the Monster Suburban...it has the 6.2 Diesel in it. Would smell like McDonalds at Full Throttle...LOL I might have to look into that ;D

that is what i was going to do that is why i asked what was under that truck. just remember that the center pin is offset on 56 in springs. i was going to do it to move the dif farther foward.

Ask Ryan on brokebastards how soft the suspension is with 56" springs up front, it's like a wet noodle.
I just re-drilled a new center pin hole in my springs and moved my axle 4" further forward, working so far.

rolled this frame out of the garage, I'm changing a few thing on this before I pass it over to my 73 blazer. pulled the 63 inch rear springs off for my one ton frame, and through on some 59 inchers I got from Jason a wile back. which meant I had to move my front spring mounts back 4 inches also I put my 3/4 ton axles under it. the rear sits about 2 inches back from stock and to the back burner this go's
