I will post the pics up... We just got to get my buddies truck into a roller so we can push his truck out of the garage and drive the jeep in... I got the last of the parts I needed for it last week, including a conversion u joint for the front d-shaft and a flange adapter for the rear.... I just need to figure out how I am going to run the e-brake cable to the e brake in the cab...

Well spent a few hours and built the front and rear bumpers... I still need to weld the d-rings on and weld in the reciever to the rear bumper, and decided how to reinforce the loop up front, but I got all the main stuff cut and welded... I forgot to take pics of the rear bumper but its not much to look at yet without the reciever or d-rings...

I still need to do a few things like cap the ends and gusset the outer corners then paint and bolt on... well I started on the d300 in last night and it went pretty well, Got the old tcase out and the new one in, but I am still waiting on the clocking ring which will be here tuesday, but I got enough done to start planning shifters and to measure the new d-shaft for the rear, This case mounts in at 6in shorter than my current t-case with sye... so My rear d-shaft is going to be significantly longer... I will have it back in this week, and hopefully ready to wheel after this weekend... heres a comparrison of the two d-shafts...

spent till about 2 this morning working on my d300 swap and it was crazy trying to design flip shifters with respect to the tranny front drive shaft , skid plate and floor! after 3 prototypes of completly differant designs I finally came up with one that would satisfy all my needs, got it together and it was working gread, shifting like it should, then went to put it in and it just hits the tranny flare when shifting into rear low, so back out it came, I got to move that shifter a little but it shouldnt take more than an hour to move that shifter in a little and everything can go back together, I even picked up some cables and a pully and will be able to opperate my ebrake/cut brake with the standard ebrake lever.. so hopefull my jeep taking road trips acrooss the lot to hit other trucks will be a thing of the past!

well it was a big mess but I got the new t-case in and all is working well... It was a bit nerve wrecking kinda like putting in a new motor after all that work taking it out for a test drive. So I ended up in 2low rear and backed out of the garage shifted it into 2hi and went to leave and the motor about died with my buddies yelling stop stop stop... fuel was shooting everywhere. the fuel return line popped off... crazy so got that back on and headed around the block and smoke started coming through the floor boards .. hurried back to the shop and it was the ebrake disc rubbing on the rubber undercoating on the jeep causing smoke, so a hammer and punch took care of that and all is well.. I am going to shorten the front shifter a little, I used the little hand ratchets as shifter knobs so I could spin them when I drive but all the ratcheting stuff melted during welding and so now they just spin so I think I am going to make something a little more erganomic for the hands. But it shifts great. I still have to shorten the front d-shaft but then she will be ready... I drove it down the highway and no vibes but when I got home I had some leaking fluid so I went searching and realized I needed to put the tcase breather hose back on so the oil being flung by the gears wouldnt kick out... anyways without further adue here she is running good again. and I was able to use some pullys and reuse the stock e brake to opperate my new cutting/ebrake! and yes I know the shifters arnt paralell right now, its cause the rear axle is in high (all the way back) and the front axle is shifted in neutral (middle position)
