Thought i may as well start a little buildup page on here... I started with a bone stock 97 wrangler with 162k on the odometer. dont have a stock pic.... but it looked alot like the first pic but with 31in tires... Started with putting a 4in skyjacker lift kit and ended up like this. Last night i finnished the ford 9 swap in the jeep.... heres the numbers its a spooled ford 9 with 4.56 gears.... I am running 35x12.50 truxxis mt on 15x10in trailready beadlocks... I gained .5in with the axle swap under the diff and 2 in of extra clearance under the rest of the axle. Sittin 2in wider. Got it moved back so my rear wheels are centered in the wheel wells again and got the axle centered under the vehicle again... ... and it drives like a dream with tons of power with the upgrade in gearing... Lower controll arm brackets are 1/2in diamond plate and upper brackets are notched for the axle tubes and then plated front and back to wrap around and under the axle... I think I will break something else long before I break any brackets... Next time to start putting in the locked dana 44 front sitting in the driveway...

I am getting ready to dump some money into a new rear d-shaft and build my own custom sye to get some better range out of my rear d-shaft since I dont intend to put the sway bars back on the back I think I iwll have a binding issue/ slipyoke shortage....

Alright it took about 2 hours but I got my slip yoke eliminated! Everything including the driveshaft for 300 bucks shipped. I took a cutoff wheel and shortened the t-case output shaft, bored a 1.5in hole and bolted up my new yoke with a 5/8 grade 8 bolt... here are the pics..... and now my driveshaft is 2.5in longer, and the angle is much much better, not to mention the extra joint to help divide out the angles!!! I think my nasty little vibe will be gone and I have all new spicer u-joints in the back end to replace my stock ones with 163k on them!

Thanks guys...
I wish I could take it for a drive to see that that little driveeline vibe was gone after the install of the new axle in the rear, but I havent even started on the front axle yet.... maybe monday since I have the day off at school...
