I have been ttrying to decide where to mount my steering stabilizer and cant really come up with anything good... is there any reason I couldnt attach it to the panhard bar? The bar and the steering have the same arc.... I have been debaiting it in my head but to think if it will wor but I cant find any reason it wouldnt.. the mounting end should always pivot together I guess except when turning the arcs would be a bit differant but wouldit be enough to cause an issue?

Boy you look ALOT younger than I was expecting... Damn shes looking good. As far as your steering goes I'd pm 97zjlarado as he put a HPd44 in his rig not to long ago and it works great. He might even have pics up on his build?

took her out for her maiden voyage tonight and after I got used to not having sway bars she did awesome.. didnt get to go hwy speeds since I dont have swaybars but I did some upto 45 and it handled really well... no more rear drive line vibes with the sye and cv shaft... and the front end seemed real solid! Ill finnish up the sway bars and steering stabilizer tomorrow and should be good to go for a while!!!

got the sway bar and steering stabilizer hooked back up and it handles better than ever... still have a farmer steering issue with real loose steering and i am not sure what to do... I have been debaiting skipping over the hydro assist and replacing the gear box and pump and just going full hydro.... Think this would work for street/trail use? www.discountjeepparts.com/product_info.php/cPath/459_1008_2105/products_id/30059

or maybe this would be a better rout? I just know I need a new steering box due to slop and am pretty sure my pump is gone too unless its just the box? How would I know if I just need the box other than to replace box and then replace the pump? Help please.... www.quadratec.com/products/56112_600.htm

Do you have a trackbar on it? If so, check and make sure that the bolts are tight and the bushing isn't worn out. That will cause bad steering.

trac bar is brand new, with new bushings... It has always been like that, kinda like the old farm truck you turn and the first few inches you feel nothing then you feel the steering move.... you can sit in the cab and move the wheel back and forth and the pitman arm isnt moving...

montana and kansas for sure dont... however I cant afford it right now, but I am not sure buying a stock replacement with 35s and lockers is the way to go.... I dont want to put 250 into it tonight and then have to start over next summer...

Got the new power steering pump (what a pita!!!) in as well as the new steering gear box, didnt have time or energy to put the ram in yet but wow what a differance already cant wait for the ram.... it turns 10x easier already... the power steering pump was a pita cause I had to do some modification to the current bracket and pulley to get it in there... but its in pumpin and runnin smooth... I also got in the hydro hood lift which is nice since I dont have a hood stand... now you pop it and lift lightly and it holds itself up and then put it a little down pressure and it shots nice and smooth!
