Cool, thanks. I just did disks on the back of my suburban and still have the prop valve hooked up. Not sure how it works yet.

its a mechanical proportioning valve, the wire is just a brake pressure sensor for the light on your dash, it mush be removed and the lines connected to each other

Get rid of the abs module, those can be a pain to get all the air out of.

kinda like taking the prop valve out but more lines and bs, might as well run new lines from the master to the frame at that point

been a couple weeks, ive been up at hoodoo helping dechutes county 4 wheelers work on their new trail up there. its a really cool trail and less than 2 hours away from me. but i have been looking at my front end and finally swallowing the fact that im going to have to redo EVERYTHING the previous owner did. so in that light it was a bad purchase that i prolly shouldnt have done, but o well, live and learn. and this way i can take more pride in it when it actually works. perk of going to mech engr school. free solidworks. . heres what the new front end is going to look like. the notches in the back are so i can bolt the winch onto the ballistic winch plate i have sitting in the shop.

been making some slow steady progress when i find time. being away from the shop all week to work up in portland doesnt help anything. i removed all the abs crap and ran new hard lines to the frame. it only took one trip to auto zone. i was proud of that. ive prty much got the front hanger nailed down. heres some mock up pics. this puppy is gunna sit low. so my shackles werent exactly what i was hoping for. so i started on shackle sliders. they get the vehicle lower, less lateral movement, and dont effect the spring rate as a shackle does. sprint cars use them. the slide peices are uhmw. also got new ubolts and spring shims. thanks alot to buzzer for pointing me in the right direction, with links and info.
