Heres where I'm at. some one used the old method of drilling holes with a slide hammer in stead of a uni-spotter and it still wasn't close enough, bondo was half a inch thick in some spots and a quarter in the rest

my welder was on the lowest setting and I kept having blow outs cause how thin the metal got in some spots from the previous grinding.

It's getting there, I still need to get some stuff to mend the bumpers, I added a cobra grill insert and need to finish by "glueing" in and smoothing the lines out so it looks original. Haven't really driven the car any where beside in the back yard in and out of our small shop/ garage so I don't know how much it'll help with cooling but I imagine a bit since there was no hole there before thats in a direct line with the rad.

It's not all together cause I think I need to pull it all back out to put a new heater core in the car. Have a sneaking suspicion it needs one since I saw the heater hoses looped together bypassing the heater core.

I finally started driving the stang now. I finished welding up the the panel, welded the floor and put the carpet back in Saturday night. I took it for a spin earlier that day and it does not like to plant. Now I just have to grind the welds and add a little filler and primer then paint.

Not bad. I'm just trying to get mine to pass smog right now, got some issues............... I plan on doing some of the things you got like the 5 lug on the cheap. found a doner car for spindles but its a v6 car and looks like it has a 7.5 in the rear but not sure. I know I just need axles and the brakes for the rear but don't know where (vics) I can get them from. I've read the newer cars, rangers, aerostars with a 8.8. I also got a line on some gtp heads, have another block, and came across a e303 cam. Not completely sure about intake though, the bbk looks awsome but I don't think it has the rpm range I'm wanting. Think the trick flow street heat that runs up to 6,500 will work better for the combination of parts I want to use. I have alot of ideas about what I want to do and try just never have time lately because of training. Oh yah I hate doing body work too, it sucks and time consuming and if not done right looks like ass under paint.

Ordered a new complete exhaust for the stang so I will find out if the exhaust is clogged when it goes on. It's a off road x pipe- dual 2.5 all the way out.

Ok to convert your rear to 5lug and retain the drums, go to the jnkyard and grab two driverside axle shafts from a ranger 7.5 (1984-1995) and the drums with it and wala you got 5lug....
for the front use the rotors from a mid 80's Lincoln Continental, Lincoln Mark VII (85-91), or '84-'86 SVO....or just buy some 5lug powerslots.....
