yep, there stronger but no zerks to lubricate, not sure if its a good thing cause I submerge it in mud and water from time to time. Hey Johny, I was just reading an article in HotRod magazine about Scattering U-Joints. They said that the greasable fittings with hollow passages for the grease are weaker than the solid non-greasable kind. I never thought about this, but makes sense. Hopefully the non-greasable kind has better seals to keep the junk out.

Cheaper u joints sometimes better so you dont break the expensive parts elsewhere That is vary true. my drive line held up like a champ, and now the stub shaft go bomb......if I up grade to 35 spline, not sure if that will put the brake at the drive line again or what. I would pray it would hold up and not brake anywhere anymore ;D

Dragged this home.. crew cab 2.0 some time after my jimmys going. thinking of welding sliders and what not to my shorter one ton frame I have, and welding this to it, and just adding some tube and just some skins and that's it.....hmmmm? I will cut the rear part off and add it to the rear of the jimmy if it fits. than just do like Baja bars down in the rear bed area. rust is not that bad, most of its just surface but still going to take a bit to get it off..

Try some 3m scratch pads. They work great, I have a few different courses if you want to try them.

You could go for the hammered look finish and just cover it with something like POR15.
