My spring sliders:
I made version 2.0 in a machine shop, so they were very precise, and much beefier.
They got attention when ever I would bullshit with other wheelers, once I explain them they would say "oh ya, ya ive heard of those once, cool idea, never seen them on the front before."
and they did exactly what I wanted to , there is very little lateral movement of the springs, I was actually planning on putting small brass washers in there to tighten it up even more. I havent driven many solid axle rigs, but I can say this thing handled twisty roads WELL. much less body roll than expected, most of that comming from the rear springs i think. When I drove it from Corvallis to Bend the first time with the 2.0 version, Hwy 20 up the hill is very twisty and I could maintain 45 Mph easily, about the same speed I do with my tacoma w/o swaybars.
