Friend just put some General Grabber GT2's on his S-10 and so far he likes them. Don't make much noise down the road and said their smooth. Another thing that's was an added bonus is they are rated as "traction tires" with the snowflake on the mountain symbol since we go to Mt. Hood often during the snowboarding season. He got 30x9.50's for his stock truck, believe he got them for $90 each from Tirerack.

I have also have great luck with the TOYO's on my Sub. They are quiet, and known for taking forever to ware out (I've had mine for 10 years on the Sub) They also do great in the sand at sand lake and the only time I took it wheeling at mudfeast, the did great. I made it up the big hill several times no problem. Most other trucks that year were unable to make it up the big hill. They are no swamper in the mud, but they did well over all. Even at SB5 I made it up the bowls with those tires. From a web site: "The Open Country M/T is designed for full-size pickups driven by enthusiasts who require extra ground clearance, load-carrying capacity and off-road capability with great on-road performance. " www.westkycustoms.com/product/TOYOMTThey would be my choise for a street truck that I would do light wheeling with and playing at sand lake in.

I have those same toyo's, they've worked ok for me, have been places where they balled up quick though and took some rpm to try to get them to clean. Cool looking looking Jeep by the way .
