I agree with both Jason and Josh. Also remember the black jeep has a 4 speed auto, 1st gear should be lower then the 3 speed auto of the white jeep. Maybe all the these things combined could be the differances you are feeling. I also run low range most of the time.. Tyler messed up the clutch in the jeep by running high range in the sand going up a hill.. I was thinking the 3spd tranny over the 4spd tranny was the difference too. But I'm thinking there has got to be more then that, it's just way too slow. I'll try looking into a bunch of this stuff to see what bI can tweek to get more power out of it.

Ok..so the choke looks like it is working ok, the distributor is electrically controlled. I found the MAP sensor was plugged in, unplugged it ad noticed the timing dropped down along with the idle. Went out and drove it and it seems to have more power now. I also looked up the axle numbers and found that the front is a 4.10 and the rear is a 4.11. The Black jeep has 3.55 front & rear.

So running the white jeep in 4 Lo and having the MAP sensor disconnected works Great in the sand.

Put~tunia the "Gutless Wonder" did alot better on the sand today then last weekend...thanks for all the help guys ....I out raced Ken going up the dunes today

Finally got the Title for this Jeep, only took 4 years. Bad thing is now, it won't pass DEQ. So now we migt have to start trailering it up to TSF. The Hydro Carbons were almost doubled and the CO Emissions were almost 11 times above the legal limit....WOW!

Picked up a power steering pump with resevior and a pulley puller yesterday. Just need to get it installed now. Old one is starting to leak pretty good.

Got the P/S pump put on today, should be good to go. Now I just need to get the Black Jeep fixxed.

Got the lights mounted on top of the flairhead, they were getting hit with rocks pretty good being mounted under the winch plate. Also put the license plate on the rollers using MAG LITE clips, they work GREAT. As soon as the Mercury sells, I'll pick up a winch.
