Just realised that I haven't post any info on this.
Its a 1986 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4X4, 2.8L (currently running on 5 of the 6 cyl. and used as one of our DD when the others are out of gas),
Rubicon 2" & 3/4" spacer lift in front with 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 upper front axle arms on the bottom front arms (they are a little longer than the stock Cherokee arms and little narrower, had to use standard spacer on each side- plus the new arms are tubed verses the open bottom stock ones).
Rear ToughCountry r-15 add-a-leaf & some thin add-a-leaf I found laying around for about 3" lift in the rear
Edelbrock 4-barrel intake manifold-offroad model
Holley 390cfm 4-barrel carb.
Hilbourne single 4-barrel chrome scoop w/K&N air filter
brushguard w/winch mount-found in wrecking yard and painted to match
magnaflow 40 series muffler w/3" exhaust
31x10.50r15LT Wildcat EXT on rear & Cooper Discovery on front & spare
Power Cherokee Limited seats in front
Looking for the rear factory swing out tire carrier, have the side mounts, and bumper (bumper is bent thou, may have to replace it?)

Thinking about buying a new 2.8L V-6 motor. That way won't have to worry about what might be going out next on the motor.

use a camaro motor they are easier and cheaper to come by and they bolt right in when my 4.0 goes out i got a v8 and 700r4 to drop in

I spent the money on a new Edelbrock 4-barrel intake manifold and a new Holley 390cfm that are on it now, and would like to use them and see if it really has the power that Edelbrock says it will have.

Got something new to put on the Jeep. Bought a 10,000lb winch for the Black Jeep and found 2 roller flairheads in the box....TOTAL SCORE!!  , so will put one on each Jeep. Think I'll pick up a used winch down the road for the White Jeep. Motor is going to have to wait for a while, didn't have a big enough bonus from work to buy the new motor I wanted. |
