Got the gearbox tightened up today, one of the bolts didn't tighten up which accounts for the odd steering issue I was having. Also got another new exhaust/intake manifold gasket put on today, the other new one started to leak . I need to get some rear driveline u-joint cap clamps. The ones I have are stretching out and the u-joint end cap is spinning in the spot.

Well last Friday, my waterpump bearing that is only a year and a half old went out. Got a new one under warranty replaced yesterday. The only thing I can figure is that the serpatine belt was too tight. This is the 3rd one in 3 years.

So last time we were in Nevada, we found out that we have to keep our red lights covered... Or run amber lenses. Here is what I got for x-mas..a new wireless weather station.

Went to the playground (U-Pull-it in Tigard) today. Got some door stops with the rubber stops, larger air intake tube, third brake light, and some steering column parts. Hopefully the newer style door stops will last longer.

what steering column parts did you get? and which style column do you have, gm or chrysler? It's the GM type, I got the outside cover, the plastic slider for the high beam, the steering column lock spring, and a few other little stuff that was damaged from the thief that tried to steal my jeep a while ago.

ah. if the tilt ever gets loose on you i can help you tighten it up done many of them and i have the pivot pin puller takes about an hour and a half I've got a thin 1/4 drive socket that fits down in there to tighten the screws. The tilt steering was loose when I bought the Jeep years ago, haven't had to retighten it yet again.

Got the steering column put back together, didn't put on the new(used) housing cover, just the inside pieces needed. The outside housing only had a few small chunks missing and would have been a big pain to take everything apart to replace it. Good thing is everything works right again . The new(used) air intake hose is the same size as the one I already have, which is the bigger one, couldn't remember if I had the bigger one to begin with or not....oh well, have an extra one now. I had also picked up new(used) seat cushions too and got the drivers side replaced. Didn't relise that the drivers side seat frame was broken, seat fells a Lot better. Also got the door stops replaced too.

Got around to checking all my lights today and got all of them working again, plus found a bunch that weren't working. Washed out the rear tail light lens, didn't relise how much dust was in them. I tought the bulbs where too dim and the covers where faded, turns out is was just dirty.
