So do you still have the broken parts? I think Jason needs them for the Loose Nut Award for Summer Bash.

Got this from another form and wanted to keep and share the info for others that may have a dana 35 axle and are thinking of upgrading it. ...at some point when you cram your 33 or 35" tires under your jeep your going to need to upgrade the rear end. So you'll have a few choices depending on what size tire you jump too. if your staying within a 33" to 35" tire and absolutely no bigger than a 35", then you can super 35 your rear end which is a nice kit. I was going to go that route as well when I was researching all this info. I know theres a few guys around like that have had great luck wheelin the super 35 on 33's and 35's. And im sure in most cases its going to get you through the rougest terrain that any jeeper will put it through. BUT you have to realize the cost in setting up the inferior axle is still going to be the same as swapping in an 8.8 or dana 44 and in most cases the stronger of the three (8.8) will be the cheapest. So from a financial standpoint its not a very smart decision. Why pay for less? Sure the dana 35 now has the same strentgth axle shafts but theres more to an axle than just shafts. With the 8.8, now you have a stronger ring and pinion, a huge housing, and stronger shafts then the super 35 or dana 44. These pictures do not lie:D [/QUOTE]

Well.... The jeep is at Lenorads... It's not a U-joint I was hearing...
It seems I could have broke the rear end (ARB) when we wheeled it last weekend. They will know more when they rip it apart.
Sucks to be me...

Your 8. is STILL a c~clip !!!!! Tires didn't come off, so it's not the C-clip, plus that wouldn't make the noise.

I left it there last night. He will pull the diff cover off of it today (I hope) and see what happened to it. Also.. The T-case started leaking oil.. WTF . The last time the rear end went out, it took out the T-case as well. It seems like everything is against me for taking this trip....

My T-case has always leaked a little when out wheeling. No drops on the ground but you can see that it was spitting a little out. Let us know what he says once he figures it out..
