yep...tranny got a good seal this time..... now i have to switch out the hubs and replace the u-joints.... I won't get this done till we move....and i have a garage!!! and hopefully get the hydrl.asst. steering installed Question: to replace the seal in rear axle...where the yoke is.... do you have to pull the gears out? or can you just do this from the outside...

hmmmm??? I wounder if that hydraulic cylinder would work in the Toyota?? I know where to drill and tap for a hydraulic assist, I wonder if that would help...hmmmmmmmmmmm... . Pinion seal, from the out side... you will need to tork the nut down to the proper specks because I do believe there is a crush sleeve in there. Not 100% sure on fords, only accustom to the toyota stuff. . . there my two cents..........

Tomorrow i should have the hyd. ast. steering finished up and ready to go on..... The GAS gauge... is fixed.... though the only thing wrong with it was.. the plug to the back of the cluster was unpluged....lol as for the hubs... was only able to check the pass.side... still spun while it was locked.... i'll check the d.side tomorrowand tear it apart to see if the WARNs will fit....
