taxes came in today.... Got the belt and front diff fluid Got the front Hubs done and yes i oiled the hubs before i put them in.... I have 4WD nowpart of the old hubs were froze up.... even though you could turn it from free to locked.... it wouldn't engage... and the WARNS fit... I know better ...i didn't oil them... there greased......lol I also cut the rear fenders, from the tires back......loss 4-5" now the frame is the lowest point back there...

Looks like you could of tried cleaning them. They might of worked. The new ones look sweet though.

Wow those things look like they were packed with frosting instead of greese!! Nice to have the four wheel drive up and going again!

Do your lift blocks have tabs that keep them from wanting to slip out? I have never seen that, but its a cool idea!

I have never seen that, but its a cool idea! this is factroy on the high boys and they do have the pins in the blocks hay bill might i sugest to try and clean the old hubs just for spars if you deside to let me know I will grade you some desile the next time i fuel up the simi and you can clean and soak the huds in it to see if they will clean up and start working agian dont hert to have spars

no.. those tabs were on my ranger too(pic below).... i'll have to go out and check, but i think there for the bump stops.... sure Marv... get some diesal... couldn't hurt....

those are stock on ford trucks. the bolts go thru the blocks also

those are stock on ford trucks. the bolts go thru the blocks also actually they don't on the F250s... the ones that came off the f250 had nubs and pockets for perfect placement....i'll grab a pic...

ok got the steering fixed today.... trimmed the front fender a bit had a prob/with the fuel pump... fixed that marv droped me of a couple use semi flaps.. i can hack up into some mud flaps and installed the tow hook Pat gave me from a semi for the most part... i think i'm done...(it's a Ford...i'll never be done) tow hook from Pat..

had the wife help me today install the rear slider window, that i had saved from the 76'.......I was trying to save the old glass to try and sell, no luck ....It shattered with in 10 mins of trying to get it out.... but this one looks much better...with new stickers.... Picked up a new (good) fuel pump, diff fluid, fog lights and installed the CB today
