No that chevy was a loaner from robert while I was between having the rental car and having my own. It is made from old parts laying around in my shed and from roberts shop. He baoght full hydrolic steering for it too.(tires and 1 tranny are mine. the rest is his)With the 2-5 speeds and 4.56 r/p it will be close to 300-1 geering.

So do you have to have a passenger in the rear to shift, or can you get a seat that swivels around so you can shift? Looks like something Red Green would build. All fun aside, looks kinda cool.

If you had a standard cab mounted in factory location, the transfercase shifter would be just inside the cab. So with bucket seets you would only have to reach 4-6 inches behind you. Not like you are gonna be shifting it while your doing 80 mph on the highway. But you could. The gearing is 162.5-1 And cost almost nothing.... Some plate steel we already had, drilling time and a little welding... I'll try to get a pic of me sitting on the frame so you can get better perspective. We will probly move the drivers position back a little. (seat, steering wheel, pettals, etc) There are builds like this on pirate.
