Pulled the t-case today in preperation for the doubler. So I took the remaining piece of u-joint that was left in the driveline back to NAPA. I keep all my reciepts and still had the one for the u-joint. Anyways Napa was hee haw'n around sayin I don't know bla bla bla. I didn't really care if they honored it anyway just thought I would try. So I didn't say much and after they kepbickering around they said ok we will warranty it this time only(thats what they said last time). Anyway I got a new U-joint out of em just because. I should get the double hung this weekend if the rain stays light.

NAPA is starting to act like schucks lol at least it worked.... did you finish the twin stick work? and with that setup what is the total advantage to having it over just the normal style? id like to try that on my 205 but im not into rocks so are there any advantages for trail rigs??
also poorboy are you running an auto or a stick?

I am running an auto. I got the twin stick mods done in the t case but still have to finish the shifter. I'll probly do that tomorrow. As for twin sticking advantages, It isn't just for rocks. It allows you to run just the front axle so you can swing the front end around tight corners, thru trees, stuff like that. You must be careful twin sticking if your front end isn't up to the challenge. If you are running a d44 with big tires and try to front wheel it in tight spots you run a chance of snapping axles.

Got the doubler in today, Had to trim the floor a lil for the shifters. The rear driveline fit without modification. The shackle flip helped with the driveline matching up.

well sometimes a guy can over engineer as well. After all was done I could have just moved the factory crossmember back to the doubler mounts and called it good. oh well this one looks cooler than the factory mount.
