This is what we just picked up over the weekend. Tyler Susan and I are all fighting over who's quad it will be.. Some of the mods.. Not sure of the cam, the full dual exhaust, Power command pro controller, K@N, 5" longer custom chrome swing arm, after market axle shafts, custom seat with extra padding, 2" riser on handle bars and custom bars, adjustable Shock stablizer on steering, ASV clutch and brake (break away) levers, engraved aluminum brake cover, throttle cover, and thumb throttle. Aluminum spiners on the front wheels. Fullbore after market plastics, Shock covers. Stainless steel brake lines, custom wheel lug nuts. Piaa lights.. And probably more I can not remember... It is nice and smooth and 70+hp! plus all the tork of a 700 CC motor :-)..

I downloaded and installed the power commander pro software yesterday for the computer.
I must have about 100 different maps for timing and fuel for different configerations on the Raptor. The map I have is set to right now let the motor turn 14,xxx RPM!!
Yes 14,000 + RPM! Tyler and I had to try it twice because we could not believe what the computer was telling us! Stock 700 Raptors have a rev limit set at 9,000.
One thing we noticed last night, in the dark.. The pipes are glowing red. This may be because of the cold, but it may be because it is running lean.

Yes.. It has lots of power :-).. Enough to break the 520 o-ring master link under wide open throttle. It hurt when the chain smacked my leg but I'm OK. Just a little more gun shy about gassing it . The first 10 minutes out we lost a front Piaa headlight and broke the chain.... But when towing it back, I found the pieces to the headlight and was able to put them back together, and we had another master link so I got it installed and off we went again. After riding it 1/2 day Tyler and I changed the programming on it. We set it to a high compression stroked out 737 kit with a barkers duel exhaust, hot cam III, K@N, no air box lid, and the Commander pro III. This gave it 30% more gas at 2200 RPM. It idles from 1800-1900 RPM, and WOW the bottom end came alive! We really like how it runs. Super fast and smooth. It can idle and lug around with no heat issues and runs fine. We are really happy with this bike! One video link of it. And a second one with the lights on so we can see it better as it moves out of sight That is a quick 10 seconds. He had to have been at least 1/2 down the flats with it!

SPARKS XX6 VS BARKER DUALS Exhaust compaisons. This quad has the new Barker duals and monster pipes on it! The Barker duals are KING IMO but the SPARKS xx6 packs a good punch following within 1.5 hp of the Barkers from 6500 rpm to redline at HALF the weight. The weight savings is its biggest advantage making both these systems quite even if u can Handle the noise! For inframe exhaust class Hillshooting and flat drag purposes where noise is not an issue the SPARKS XX6 may be the way to go for less weight.... for the regular dune/ trail guys, get yourself a set of MONSTER or BARKER DUALS and be done with it, knowing u have some of the best performing exhaust systems made!

Today started off like this.. Saw MudHog in the AM. Nice day You know there would be a jeep somewhere :-).. Mid day was not so good for alot of us. This guy got towed back by a good friend :-).. I broke the chain and had to be towed back as well, and one other guy blew up his motor all within 1 hour. But the end of the day turned out nice again. The wind picked up just before dark. I look like I am flying :-) Don't ask me why the pics are showing different sizes :-).. Strange.

This bike looks like more fun that your other one. Can't wait to get my bike back together and go riding. We'll have to see how my little 250 stacks up against that 700.

I love this quad! We have had it for about a year now and it has been GREAT, Fast, Reliable and doesn't even use much gas. I would recommend a 700 raptor to anyone. We have two of the and have really enjoyed them. They are one of the fastest quads in production with a speed limiter at 80 MPH. That being said. Tyler's CBR900RR quad is faster in 2nd gear then these are topped out in 5th gear!
