you can buy a replacement pin kit/ rebuild kit for the hi lift brand ones. It fitts the handy man versions too.

Thanks, I'll mess with it when I get back from the races this weekend.
I figured out part of the engine miss issue. When changing the distributor cap and rotor, the red wire from the coil that's in the cap was worn through and looked like it was grounding on the coil. Put a new coil, cap and rotor on and most all the missing went away. It still has a little roughness just off idle, but hopefully it just needs a little more love.

That looks like alot of fun! How does the starter look after that big jump? Are you able to fix it so it will not hit again? I know the air bump stops are crazy expensive.

I put another rubber bump stop over the differential. I dented the starter where the magnets are and shattered the starter nose. I don't know haw it still started. I had an old starter laying around that cleaned up and works for now. I also dented the transmission lines, so I need to fix that as well.
You don't make speed in the air, but it's so much fun.

Mike, my HF jack does that all the time, It's lack of lube that does it. I dowse mine with Liquid Wrench with Teflon and it works well for the next couple uses.

You need some floatation tires out front. The smoothie type tires with ribs on them would work good for what you have set up.

Ribbed front tires would be great. My wife didn't appreciate getting loaded with sand when I through it in reverse and put the hammer down. Those paddles through so much sand it just about filled the jeep. There was some really soft sand spots where you would think was quicksand.
I'll have to try lubbing the high-lift. I've had good luck with Seafoam Deep-Creep on other stuff.
