The sad thing is.. I have done the spacer thing before.. LOL.. Even tried it on the buggy when comming back from Florence... A couple weeks ago, on a lugnut.. Hmmm.. It didn't work out well.... Without the spacers it took out my brakes.. With the spacers... I stripped the threads... and I even went to the autoparts store to get the correct lug bolt (not a pressed in stud on the old VW's).. LOL..
