hey guys, my name is scott, i grew up in the hillsboro area, and have seen poorboy trucks around, and had friends who were involved with them. i have a tacoma that i wheeled for a couple years and learned alot, but wanted more. i was looking for a 4runner to build up, but im on a college budget, so i was very picky. i found this 93 jimmy that had been sased in my area, and i was interested, but wanted it for less, a few weeks later he droped the price to where i wanted it, and i snatched it up. ive always loved the blazer/jimmys and it fit my needs well. i need to fix a few things to get it to where im satisfied and confident with it, but her is how it sits now. i am here to learn, i am new to chevys and solid axles so im all ears to constructive criticizm. i will get more detailed pics up and prolly start a build thread to ask questions. imediate work is going into, mounting shocks, attaching rear breaks and getting the tranny shifting smoother(tps). there is a hemi joint in ther steering that makes it a lil sloppy, but it works well. i will have lots of questions, and i like the feel of smaller local forums. i am on pirate, but that place is huge and i dont feel like getting flamed for things i cant find with search.

What about running a high offset wheel to suck them back under the truck, is that possible with those things?
