Something has to power the solenoid, either a switch or ride height sensor, trace the wire and find out where it goes.

The line could also have a kink in it. I've seen that more than once on big trucks. you should have a leveling valve somewhere in the system. that sets the ride height. It will be a valve with the supply line going to it and 2 lines coming from it going to the air bags, and if there is a suspension dump switch on the dash, there will be a hose going to it for that. Another thing to try is to unhook both ends of the line (from the tank and the bags) and blow air trough it. then if you don't get any flow, start disconnecting the line further up till you do. that will isolate your problem.

the ride height valve should have a rod going down to the axle

yeah the right height valve does go to the axle. i wonder if the power that runs to it go disconnected ill have to trace the wire today after the insurance people are done taking pictures.

All the leveling valves that I've ever seen with wires attached were for an electric dump switch. Also, where on the tankis the sopply line coming from? Sonmetimes sludge builds up in the air tanks an will clog the hole or if there was any rust in the air tank the flakes can get into the valve and mess things up. tha brake valves have bigger holes and chambers so the flake a lot of times can pass right through. (FYI)

got a few things figured out made sure the air bags worked by making up a little valve witha shutoff so i could adjust pressure found, out the dump vavle was broken off on the bottom but also the tank is clogged at the bottom so i might swap out a new tank and see if i can find a new dump vavle for a reasonable price, took it out for a little test spin and it tops out about 55 so not exactly a highway rig but oh well the funny thing about it was the speedo was buried at 80 i also got most of the deck finished heres some pictures of the new deck and the vavle i set up.

nice deck........... i know yea prob dont wana spend any money on it but..If yea throw an overdrive unit in it then you could effectivly split all the gears and it would def get up to speed......
also on some of these bigger rigs were governed im not sure how they did it but if your speedo says 80 and your doin 55 then ? does it feel like the engine has more or is it reved out..

Could just be gear bound

i was at about 2400rpms in 6th i think its just geared really low its like 8.13 or something close to that, i think it needs a splitter myself or overdrive but its just going to drive to tsf and back a couple weekends a month and sandlake every once in a while. so i couldnt really justify a really expensive upgrade just to go a little faster at this point. maybe if i was taking regular trip cross country or 3 or 4 hours or more but not for short distances
