I had a 74 dodge power wagon. 318 are the most perfectly balanced and reliable motors i've come across.... i drove one for 2 years with no oil pressure at all.... for the last 3 months of it's lift a piston was actually hitting the head.... and it would still get up and go. Finally replaced it with a ground pounding 440 out of motorhome. i love dodge... they just dont look as good lifted....as high as i'd like my chevy lifted...

it isnt a bad deal if it is simple to get it running. 360 is a decent motor that is worth more then $400. If all else fails, you could part it out and make money. So if you want a dodge... go for it.
