Just heard on FOX 12 that there is a fire out of control on Jones Creek Rd that started around 6:00pm. They're having a hard time fighting it and have evacuated nearby homes.

Has now gone from 5 acres an hour ago to 20 acres. Second alarm fire crew has been called in.

On a positive note, it will be easyier to build the new trails now, won't have a lot of brush to cut back

Yocalt burn is pretty big isn't it? Is it burning in the trail location? Trails would have made a good firebreak huh.

yes yacolt burn is a big area, and yes its in the general area of where the trails are purposed. from my understanding the biggest issue is access to put it out. not alot of roads up there and most of them are pretty narrow
