back in '89 they were a whopping 100horse, that's about what mine looked like when I got it...
if you ever need help on the engine, I have the same truck, and a spare parts engine... and well, mine is pushing more power than it used to...

my plans are to put a 302ci motor in there,once i start working full time again,then it would be a fun truck,,or just turbo this little 2.3L OHC 4banger..

oh, the turbo is fun on the street... I can definetely help you on that swap, I still have all my links, and it's fairlly fresh... the only hard parts on the swap are the heater blower housing and exhaust, which I'm still running on the stock ranger cat and muffler, seems to work fine, even with 15psi going to the engine

small block swap on these is simple also, i once had a ranger cab on a BII frame and a 302, was like drivn a quad on the street lol...
