Gota e-mail from David Hiatt reads as follows EFFECTIVE 0100 ON 7/28/09, NW-1 goes to IFPL 2 and NW-2 & NW-3 go to IFPL 3. Shutdown restrictions are listed below. (Tillamook District is now only comprised of zones NW-1 and NW-2, the district boundary with Forest Grove District is the boundary between NW-2 and NW-3.) egov.oregon.gov/ODF/FIELD/TILLAMOOK/images/Protection/nw_IFPL.pdf The Level changes also affect OHV use on the Tillamook State Forest. Browns Camp, Jordan Creek, Diamond Mill, and Trask and the trails in the BLM Nestucca Riding Area are CLOSED and will remain closed until further notice. The gravel roads in the Browns Camp, Jordan Creek, Diamond Mill, and Trask areas remain open for OHV use. All Designated posted dispersed sites on the Tillamook District are now closed for campfires. Campfires are only allowed at Designated Campgrounds (Jordan Creek, Keenig Creek, Jones Creek, Diamond Mill, and Nehalem Falls). goes on to giving the laws and junk but pretty much means that the trails are closed at b camp...... never did understand that if yea got a trail that is all rocks and dirt, how is that differant than just driving around on the logging roads.. oh well...trask is still open on my side of the mountain...

Hi Everyone, Due to an increase in Fire Danger and the Industrial Fire Precaution Level being raised to an IFPL 3 – the OHV trails in the Tillamook State Forest (Browns Camp, Jordan Creek, Diamond Mill, and Trask) and the OHV trails in the BLM Nestucca Riding Area are CLOSED effective at 1:00 AM Tuesday, July 28th and will remain closed until further notice. In the Browns Camp, Jordan Creek, Diamond Mill, Trask and BLM Nestucca Riding areas the gravel roads remain open for OHV use. We will let you know as soon as the trail closure is lifted. Please help us spread the word in the OHV community and, as always, feel free to call if you have any questions. Thanks for your help! Its possible they may lift the heaviest of the restrictions with some cooler weather but usually I think it takes a bit of rain

Hi Everyone, Lower temperatures and higher humidity have reduced the fire danger. As a result we will be dropping back to an Industrial Fire Precaution Level 2 effective at 1:00 AM Saturday August 1st. That means the OHV trails in the Tillamook State Forest (Browns Camp, Jordan Creek, Diamond Mill, and Trask) and the OHV trails in the BLM Nestucca Riding Area will be open for use again effective Saturday August 1st. Please help us spread the word in the OHV community and, as always, feel free to call if you have any questions. Thanks for your help!
