I just bought bed liner for my blazer and am using it to replace my carpet so I can just spray out the inside when it gets dirty. When I take out the carpet how should I prep before I apply the liner? Should I sand off the old paint or use primer or any thing like that or just apply? I am rolling it in can I use a regular paint roller because I have about 10 or 12 that are just taking up space.

I used cans of Dupli-Color Bedliner for the rocker panels on my Dakota. It has held up great since I did it last September. There is only one spot thatI had a problem with, and that's just under the passenger's door where I came down hard on a rock. The bedliner did not fail, but the paint under it did. You must sand with sandpaper no finer than 150 grit, with 100/120 preferred. If you do not sand, the liner will just peel right off of whatever you sprayed it on once it's dry. The finish has faded from what it started with, but that's not a concern of mine. I also don't know how well a standard paint roller will work. I know Wal-Mart sells the roller made for rolling on bedliner. Charlie Charlie
