I already did weld the spiders in the "new" carrier. Didn't get pictures of it posted though since it looks like most others once it was welded up.

Finally made it back into the garage. Took a 2 week vacation back home to see family, then another week here to get caught up on the stuff around the house. Still have more to do around the house to get ready for the baby, but not too much. Decided to "trim" the bottom of the 14b to remove the lip on the bottom. My hands are still vibrating from the cut-off wheel and grinder. Still have a little more I could take off on the one side to make it a little smoother. Also going to put my order in next week for the new gears. Anyways on to some pics... Before... Bottom cut off... Amount that was cut off, (tape measure just for reference)... After grinding... Still need to cut the old shock mounts off, and get some u-bolt plates and after the gears are installed it can be mounted to the springs. I have most of next week off for my birthday so hoping I can get a few things started or accomplished.

Haven't done much to the project lately. Been busy getting the house ready for when baby is born. Losing our computer room, so been building an oak desk for the computers in the extra part of the living room. I did get a few things done on it though. For the time being it's going to be leaf sprung in the front. Decided to use the money for other stuff on the truck before going to coilovers, like a doubler. Still going to build the cage as if I was using them though, so when the time comes it'll be an easy swap. Got another set of 80's Dodge rear springs for the front, put in new bushings and got them mounted to the frame. Have some pics at home of the somewhat progress.
Finally got my gears for the front axle, and Friday ordered my 1410 yokes from High Angle Driveline for the D60 and 14b. Got the 1410's just so I could have a little more degrees out of the yokes in case I need it. Once those come in and I get the desk done going to get the gears installed and should be set to bolt the axles to the springs, find a set of rollers and be able to take it off the jackstands.

It'll be a little while, but I will let you know. May just to the $$ route, and buy a complete harness and standalone computer for it from Fast. Need to find some cheaper intake manifolds for it to get rid of the plastic one and the drive by wire TB.

[glow=yellow,2,300]OUCH!![/glow]No real work been done on it lately. If it's raining this weekend I'll be tearing the D60 down to try and make it to Good Guys Auto to get the gears installed before the baby gets here.... Now the reason for the first statement... just put my order and deposit down on a set of these... 42x15.0x16.5. Should be here either Friday or Monday. Pitbull only had 12 left in stock, so wanted to get them ordered ASAP. They've been out of stock since last June. Now looking at them will get me even more motivation to get it done.

Got them from Pacific Truck Performance in Ridgefield WA. They were only 1 of 2 dealers local. Got them cheaper then the quotes I got from Pirate, but still a lot of $$.
