I just thought I would share this pic. I can't wait to use them. But the new shafts make the 44 look like a tooth pic.

I got the ox joints for mine. If you get ox joints look in offroad adventures there is an ad for cheaper than 4 wheel parts sells them for. Email 4 wheel parts about the ad. They will beet the price. However if ya wanna spend the extra money CTM's are lifetime warranty and ya cant go wrong there. I've seen a set on ebay for a decent price. I got my shafts from blackwidow for a pretty decent deal.

well once you in deep enough you just keep going broke so much stuff for d44 thinking it could hold up could have built 2 60"s with cost of broken parts live and learn spend the $$$$ first time an do it right

I had planned on building the 44. I kept replacing stock shafts every trip. I had convinced myself it would be strong enough. Then before I made the mistake of ordering parts for it I bought a d60 from Mightymouse's freind. I ran that a 8 months open in the front without breaking anything but planned on locking the front and I had so much trouble with the 44 I was nervous about locking the stock 60 so I maxed out a credit card ordering upgrades. Looking back I may have gone overboard alittle but then can you really go to far when it comes to strength? My plan was to build it strong enough I could put my wife or kid in the driver seat and point it up the hill and not worring about it braking. Of course I think I'm harder on it then them.

i was breaking stubs with 36"s went to chromo shafts and all on d 44 then it worked ok with pucks but bought 44 boggers and you can find a lot of new weak spots could not keep carriers in the 44 broke everytime i went out was running yukon powerlock tires were to big so next wave of build now was going to reagear but think will go doubler instead hear 717 will break easier than 410
