Well I know it's not really local, but it's still an issue that needs some care by the whole 4x4 community. And rock crawling isn't a big deal here, but why not save the biggest OHV area for the fellow wheelers! The Marine corps wants to shut down 180,000 acres in Johnson Valley to expand their Air Ground Combat Center. (They already have 600,000) And their are other places they can go to, but this to them would have the least resistance. www.pirate4x4.com/letters/This generator thingy sends your letter to 20 different receivers issuing them about the use of the OHV area. Send a letter and save one of the most famous trail systems!! As a comparison, this would be like shutting down Browns Camp to us

definetly worth saving, This is on my list of places to wheel. The wheeling community did so much to save this place from the greenies now to have the military step in and just take it. I definetly respect the military personel but hopefully we can keep this peice from them.

My thoughts exactly. I didn't want to sound like I'm against the Marines in this, but their are other places that would suit the public better.

And when I say people I mean Marines................ I doubt they know either, I'm stationed here and didn't know they were trying to expand, I didn't think they had to, it's supposed to be the largest base we got as far as the USMC goes.
