its mine again and everything is all over.... it will be going through a huge transformation next summer after I graduate so I will start a new buildup when that starts, but the willynilly2.0 will be light weight all tube chassis, low cog built solid and right! There was some things done by a certain party that compromised all but one structural part of the rig so a makeover is in store... And with my new bender on the way I will be doing everything in house to prevent another disaster!

well I took the plunge and there is no looking back! I am going to wait till I start building the fenders to clean up the cut so I can knock down any low spots !! then I will put trim across the bottom and it should be pretty close to perfect match with the fenders....

Looks good. I would be tempted to do the same but my hood is messed up above it ("tree! Ups...") and I don't think it can take the cut.
Make sure to put the side locks back on it when your finished. I've seen pics of hoods that flew open because people were only using the inside hood catch because they liked the "cleaner look".

LOL yea I saved the side locks to put back on, I have debaited doing some nice hood pins to have a cleaner look but I think I am just going to put the stock latches back on... plus you can see a little of the recess where the stock bracket was and if you put the stockers back on it covers those ...

those are nice only problem is I have worked so hard to get everything shiny off there I can that would be going backwards... LOL naa those are nice but im inthe poor college student category and am so far in the posative with this transformation with the parts I have sold.... I even sold my lift before I listed it, the guy who bought the front flares asked me what I was going to do with it when I took it off I told him sell it and he claimed it...

Well started on the bender today went pretty well.. im alot further then it looks... most of the work went into making the main frame work square and the roll and die holes lined up and properely spaced... I just have to finnish weld it togethere with supports and make a push rod for it.... and it will be ready for a test run....

I got to looking at the other designs of these and their 1/4in flat stock so I am pretty sure I will be fine... I have 3/8ths total material around the hole and added 1/4in everywhere else... but time will tell... anyways had about 45 min tonight and got a bit more done... uprights final welded, 1 3/4in 120 wall support with 1in 120 wall cross on the a frame and for the handle.... I just have to finnish the other side and mount the jack and I will be ready to fire it up.... just a handle nothing really structural just thought it would be handy to move it around... got the flat stock for the mounting of the fenders... hopefully I will be starting bending tubing by saturday....

got out in the garage tonight and finnished up the bender... I just need to get some black paint cause you all know white will just show all the dirt! the pipe and washers out the upper moun is to limit the stress on the pin that holds the roller in there but I cant wait to try it out this weekend... I had to steal a 36 in piece of the new steel i got for the fenders for the other brace and it was a dream to weld on good quality steel!

well got the bender wraped up painted greased up and bolted together and tomorrow weather pending it will get its break in run! it weighs in around 55 lbs finnished so its fairely easy to move and it sits well on saw horses puting it at a great working height... Im stoked at how well it came out hopefully it will prove itself durable!
