not sure what I think of those fenders being moved up... I think I would prefer to do a highline hood and tube fenders... I didnt like how they raised up the rear fender flare but i suppose if I wasnt a jeeper I wouldnt notice... But A very cool idea and I think doing something like that but with tube fenders would be awesome!

I really like the slim hood, it has a profile like the new wranglers... and i love being able to run large tires with no lift! If I were to start over again I would do something like that and run some rubicon springs... although with 35s and a 3.5in lift im not overally tall... but im all into the low as possable...

Got a little b-day present coming this way for willy nillys kid sister.... she will be going from 28 spline shafts and a minni spool to 31spline alloys and aussie locker.... both are on their way... and when the weather gets nice the lift kit is coming off and then let the fender trimming begin... and bring on the highline hood and tube fenders...

I am now runnin with a locker in the rear instead of the spool. and upgraded to 1.5in alloy shafts up from the 1.21 in shafts it had... havent driven it enough to know how differant it will be but I will report... The new locker is a aussie... I have a full detroit up front and love it so I am excited to see for myself on the aussie.... It toook alot of time fixin someone elses mistakes... first off pulling the ring gear one bolt was tacked on? what the hell right... well I groud the weld and got it off turns out it had been stripped and was welded to hold it in... then about 6 of the ten bolts had been over tightened and damaged the threads so i replaced all those... then the bearings... he ground out material to get them on easier well they could come off by pulling on them... great huh so I fixed that... then the old shafts I am glad I replaced them... but I think he shaved the retainer collar and bearing for ease cause they didnt even come out of the axle tube they just slid off the axle... thank goodness I have disks cause thats all that was keeping the drivers side shaft in! Good crap I dont mind do it yourselfers but hell do some research and do it right!

Well took her out for her maiden voyage yesterday and it was a blast... We went to ks rocks, it was me and my buddy in his stock ranger with 31s,(I welded up his spiders before we went), got there around 11.. had a great day, we were joined by a fellow jeeper and did some greens blues and ended with a good black, we suffered a dingend fender (ranger) a broken battery cable (ranger) and a flat tire (me)
the aussie out back was awesome! and the detroit up front was awesome! pulled like crazy, and I couldnt have done it all without the hydro assist!
Ill put some pics up early this next week!

good news, got the flat pitman arm, a piece of 5/16ths plate for the flat belly and a stock rubicon suspension today to get ready for building the lowest cog jeep I could... Best part of it, I will be dropping the jeep 4 in.. and gaining 4in with the new skid so my breakover angle and ground clearance will be identical to my lifted jeep now... Can wait!
PS. changed the name a bit for you PB! LOL
