My J 4000/Waggy/Cherokee/Cj5

Welp here is my project
Base is a 1971 J4000
Engine 377 Chevy
Trans TH350/203
Axles 44/60
Tires HAH round...

Recently changed axles to Dana 60's 6.17 gears full chromoly and spooled rear still open front for now.
Building a exoskele and bed at the moment Planning on putting in my SM465 with 203/205
Havent decided on tires but something in the 42 inch range Iroks or boggers...butwould love some 46 inch Goodyear tractor treads but not sure that the axles will hold up to my foot ;D
Running 63inch springs rear and 52 inch rears in front 63 rears pending. Think thats it?

Anyway here is what i started with

About 12 hours of fun into it rear spring in and bed half done


Ive got the sliders done and the back boxed in removed the upper outer rails in favor of round tube .

Here is my old Waggoneer that i didnt build but finished it so had to ditch it

And the my other old cherokee sporting 38 inch Boggers and half homemade half rubicon express 8 inch suspension

And the Jeep that got me hooked on jeeps OH and my frist fab job Tub fenders

Figuered ide toss in some of my old junk ;D

Haha that thing was fun...I did some more trimming on the XJ and a few other lil things man that would flex!

Nope I babied it at mudfest and well in general...it just wasn't the one i wanted to build.
Is the yota still goin good?

Thanks man! No im into everything that turns four wheels. As for the chevy power it was in it to start with...which I have no problem with. Ever try to goto a local parts store and find let alone buy high end AMC parts? I stinks ...though some day ide love to build up a 401.

Thanks Rock Dawg. Yeah it was a blast and still 2 years later all my buddys cuss me for gettin rid of it . Shoulda handed them all the parts bills ;D
Looks like you have a nice TJ there! Where you up at browns camp with a large group around October? I was the guy on the King Quad and my buddy's beat up black yota in tow.
