What kind and size of tires are you thinking about Rusty?

I'll keep my same tires for now until (if) I go 1 ton's I will wait and see. I would like to get some pit bull's if I can afford them.
I think Kevin is wanting to see if 39.5's will fit under his jeep with his Hi Hood.

Thanks Dawg. I hear good things about the pits after they break in they don't get the 35~0 mph shakes on jeeps like most swampers

I haven't made up my mind yet. I have a rebuilt 70's 302 that I think I could slap these on (I still have to double check it), but it's a stock bottom end.
My motor's bottom end is forged pistons with a steel crank, but it's wore out. I'd like to use my motors bottom end and block if it's OK. I will have to wait and see when I pull it and see what is still good on my motor.

yes it's a used cam and I may not be using it, but it was a package deal... It is the cam that I want as well. I will have it checked out by Jim's machine shop in Forest grove and see what he thinks.
I have also heard alot of bad about using old cams and have never used one before. They are cheap enough to buy a new one...
The Dana 60/ Dana 70 combo for $650... Jason talked me out of buying.. It is a spendy front end to repair and the guy never sent me the numbers to make sure it was a Dana 60 and not a Dana 50.

Hmmm More goodies for the heep. Upper 4-link hymes New one VS. old one. Our messy workplace and Tyler removing one of the Hymes. so we have 3 of the 4 upper 4 links rebuilt with all new hymes. We have alos rebuilt the track bar with new hymes and bushings. We still have the 4th upper 4-link to replace. I still have a funny lose noise comming from the front end syspention. The Bottom Hymes look and feel fine. I will have to do more digging to fingure out where the noise is comming from.

at the con you had a bolt slightly loose and it was rattling the bolt in the bracket not the heim, i think. i know we tighten the piss out of it.

Yes we got some new grade 8 bolts, nuts and washers for them. I used a 1/2 inch rachet 16" long to really tighten the 1/2 bolts. If they come loose now....
I know I do have some wore out steering joints, but that should not effect the suspention.

Well.. I picked up another dana 30 tonight. It should have everything I need to get the heep back together again. Tyler and I stripped our passanger side down to the knuckle tonight and will work on replacing the balljoints then putting it back together again. All I really need now is Ball joints, Ujoints, and a brake line. Oh and time to put it together again.
