Did some stuff on this today and found I have a lot more to do before next Saturday. Did get the power steering pump changed out, and all lined up, now it will not flip the belt over anymore. Took the front bumper off and installed some shackles to pull from when I get stuck.
Just gotta bolt the top down, install a switch to operate the windshield wiper squirter's, and get it running on all 8 (6 currently), and its ready???......I think....

ready for mudfest installed a stock are cleaner, probably a better choice than the open one, I'm sure my fan is going to make a mess in there. also on the far fender I installed my old 4runner windshield squirter container and wired it in, a must have in the mud. my front shackles, they will have to do

tried this out today, cause Steve gave me an extra 14 bolt yolk, milled and drilled out this thing for the u-bolts rather than the straps, Ive herd this is a better way to go, what do you think? got to take it back and mill about anther 3/32nds off the back to get the lock washers on and have the nuts fully on the treads.

well the rear is a little more involved in fitment than I thought, had to move the spring perches out and inch on both sides. you can see the cut marks on the tube where they were. had to cut the shock tabs from a 10 bolt I'm scraping and weld them on the opposite side of the axle tubes. left the old shock tabs for now. I don't like this type of square bolt and plate set up but is all I got for now. also removed the over load and tossed in a small half inch block to make up for the over load spring. I dont no if 8 leafs are what im going to run but will see.

If he worked on his shop as much as he works on his rigs he would have been done ALONG time ago.
