This truck started as a 75 blazer with a rancho 4" lift and 35" bfg's. With a blown rear end a sb 400/350/203. for $500. I had my work cut out for me. I took off the doors, top,and Tail gate and threw them away. Bolted up my one ton axels, th400/205, and cut the fenders untill my 44 boggers fit. It was a rust bucket, so it didn't take long before the cab started to break down. After jumping it one day the entire fire wall shifted down about three inches. By this point I had bought a parts truck with a 454. I cut the body of the blazer off and bolted on a pick-up cab in its place with a 3" body lift. Flipped the shackles in the rear. Put 52" springs with longer shackles, and extended the spring perches up front. To go from 4" of lift to 12" and from a small block 400 to a big block 454. About 2 years ago I grenaded the 205 transfer so I did some swapping with friends and bought some parts and wound up with a th400/203/205 and offroad design second generation doubler set up,with 1 ton drive lines. The truck is set up with receiver hitches front and rear. I have a ramsey 12000EX and a 8000lb mile marker on receiver mounts for each end. I bought a set of new 47" tractor tires on wheels ready to bolt up to 8 lug, from a friend for a grand.(SWEET DEEL)They even fit without doing any mods. You can see it at "themud.com"The official site for The Mountain Mud Festival in Sweet Home Oregon. They even got me on the video. I am thinking of rebuilding the truck on a burb or 4-door with a 3/4 or 1 ton chassie. The blazer frame has taken a beating over the last 10 years and seams like it is a good up grade. Plus my family has grown,so we need more seats.
