what happen to your old spiders? If you are gonna buy new you might check into investing in a locker instead of new spiders

should just have to pull the carrier, pop out the center pin and they sould fall out once you pull the carrier just rotate one of the side gears and they will spin themselves out.

I thought you were talkin about the rear but either way a locker replaces the spider gears. A true trac would be a good investment. No spider gears and can still turn when in 4wd. not sure price for d60 but most others are abot $330

2 wheels verses 1 spinning but if you spend money on a locker you might as spend a couple more dollars and get a selectable locker just my

yes you have to pull everything you would have to pull to change gears since you have to pull the carrier

If you only trashed your spider gears and not the side gears you shouldn't have to pull axles. If the side gears are damaged then need to remove axle shafts, pull cross shaft, rotate out spiders and then just pull the side gears and thrust washers out and reinstall in reverse order. I will look for a tech article I saw.
