Hey Guys.. I was just wanting to know what people think of the company Interstate and if they have worked for them.. My Uncle works there in willsonville I think and he told me to try and apply. He likes the company and said he thinks they might have some opennings either in willsonville and maybe troutdale.. i would rather the troutdale because it is a 10 min drive from school.. So I am going to school and want to get a part time job and just get some more input. It might be the place for my uncle, but might not be for me while going to school. Thanks guys. Shads

Roger Thompson with the red and white pickup with no frontend and cage on the rear is my graveyard forman. Roger Gray with the white chevy that broke both front axles is in the truck shop. Jimmy with the blue bronco that was also at the mudbog is in the Trailer shop. The owners of the property we had our mudbog also work for me in the truck shop. Neal with the jeep also works there. The other guys from the club that work there didn't show up. ;D

Well, I'd say so.. I was thinking about turning in my application here in the next couple days.. But I guess I am going to do it today. I would be working out in troutdale though.. too bad.. I guess I am off to turn in my financial aid papers at MHCC then to turn in am app. Also, doesnt anyone one know someone who works for a ford dealership.. I need to get sponcored by a dealership so that I could start schooling for automatives.. They have a good program at MHCC, too bad its a Ford program.. But same basic concept.. right?

NO NO NO Fords are all backwards. If your dyslexic you might be able to figure out how to work on a chevy too But if you wanna work on both you better be a switch hitter.

Hey Jason, I did apply, and I talked to a guy named Jeff I believe. He said he'll look over my app, and get back to me, but you never know. I also got registered for school, now I need to go through the motions about getting accepted into the automotive program.. I got the pack to fill out and find a dealership now.. Yay..

I can get an app for anyone but you are on your own in the interview. The way they hire now I don't get the same input I use to they have all different kinds of procedures now. But they are always hiring Truck and trailer mechanics.

Jason, I didnt put you down as a reference because you dont know me that well, and I dont want to bring any attention your way unless you say it is okay and you feel good about putting your name and rep behind me. I just used my uncle since he said it was alright... I also have a interview tomorrow morning at UPS as a driver helper, but it is kind of far. I applied for the job about 2 months ago, and they just got back to me. I am going to go down there and see what they are about. I dont think they are going to be able to work around my school schedule though. I would rather work at interstate mainly because it is so close and right down the street from my school, plus it is more in the direction of the line of work I want to go.

i worked for ups a few years ago its hard work for what you get payed but the benefits are well worth it if you have a family its an union job so you get union benefits the medical is better than most full time jobs just depends if you need the benefits or not if ups is worth it
