here is a few shots of 7up. this is the start on the hard side. Not sure what we will do here. The bypass to the right needs to be removed. This section of trail really should be 1 way I think. Filters at the bottom would keep it from getting torn up and should keep people from making bypasses on this section as well. The first time I ever ran this trail it was only as wide a a fullsize rig at the top of the boulder face. It is now 20feet wide from people trying to go around the face. Everything to the right of the tree has been dug by people trying to bypass the trail. The whole 7up trail system is pretty much 4 trails in one that come together at the top of a hill. 2 sections are easy and 2 are difficult.

here is a shot of the easy side. the first 150 yards of trail has no rock base in it and you can see it is getting deeper and dug out. It does eventually turn to rock toward the top.

this is the other easy trail. dont really know why it was closed other than to keep people out of the rest of the trails. It looked good. Might need a few drains put in put that is it.

I dont have a pic of the second hard spot but it is steep and very dug out. No real rock base. If rock was added it might not last. too steep.

the pic you took is the last enterance to the easy trail. definetly got a lil carried away with the trees. the next trail up had at least 12 trees pushed over on it.

to do it right I dont think it would all get done this year, they will have to close parts of it for winter next year again. It really depends what they will let us do.

After talking with Kelly it sounds like he is wanting to leave the bypass on the rock face. Sounds like it will be mostly installing drains on the trail. Might get the trail up in useful condition faster than I thought and improve it thru out the year? Will post up what we find out July 2nd.
