Hi All,
Those of you who have been out and about have noticed a lot of work that has been done from the Browns Camp area clear to Jordan Creek in terms of trail closures.
These trails have been closed for a variety of reasons including traditional seasonal closures, resource protection (water quality, trail degradation & damage), protecting volunteer projects, and timber sale related closures. The signs at each trail explain the reasons that trail or portion of trail have been closed.
I will be reviewing these closures at the next trail planning meeting but if you have questions please feel free to give me a call.
This is a list of the closures currently in place:
#1 Rogers Camp Road (the first mile leaving Rogers Camp is open for an out and back ride),
#2 Firebreak One
#3 Crooked Bridge
The segment of Powerline trail from Browns Camp to the Powder House Loop Road (the entire Powder House Loop is closed to access)
#6 Browns Powerline
#7 Clydes
#9 Sidewinder
#13 Cedar tree
#16a Saddle Up
#24 Bates Road
#28 Archers Firebreak; (Rocky Uphill to protect work done by Jolly Jeepers, Doug Shipman and his volunteers, as well as the Waterfall, Can Opener, and Little Rock Garden)
#45 Log Jam
