Highway 6 (Wilson River Highway) South Fork Road to Timber Road): A contractor has started work on a project to pave approximately 11 miles of Highway 6 between South Fork Road (milepost 27.85) and Timber Road (milepost 38.95). In addition, workers will extend the eastbound climbing lane 600 feet, replace culverts, update signs and guardrail and add durable lane striping.
This week, crews will begin culvert work at various locations throughout the project. Lane closures will be in place during work hours, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. Flaggers will control both directions of traffic and motorists should expect up to 20 minute delays.

Crews are also paving hwy 8 in forest grove so far they are from scotties to forest gale hights I waited about a half hour today on the way home .

This week, crews will continue guardrail and road widening work between Storey Burn Road and Drift Creek Road. Toward the end of the week, paving will begin on the highway at Timber Road and heading west to Agaard Road. Lane closures will be in place during work hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. Flaggers will control traffic and motorists should expect up to 20 minute delays. Friday, Sept. 9, the contractor will begin work replacing a culvert on Scoggins Creek Road at Highway 6. During this work, Scoggins Creek Road and Brown's Campground will be closed to all traffic.
