Hey there. I'm another newbie from and to Salem as well. I moved up here about a year ago from South Dakota and I don't know this place very well yet. ;D Right now, I've been wheelin in my fiance's rig... 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 lifted 5" on 36" Super Swampers, since my rig isn't up and running yet. It's a 1984 S10 Blazer with an 89 2.8l motor. I got it for free from one of my friends. The owners before him did the engine swap, jimmy rigged the wiring and then someone decided that it would be fun to pour fuel down the TBI and start the top half of the motor on fire. LOL!! So, I'm redoing the wiring and trying to find any other issues with the beast. I'm hoping to have her running by the 26th with the 33s on her. Of course, fender cutting and lift will be a necessity and also very entertaining. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of ya... and BTW just because I'm a chick doesn't mean I don't like getting dirty... LMAO!! ~Crazy

welcome to poorboy what type of wheels are trying mount on your s-10 ? if they are aluminum couldn't you have them machined to fit s-10 ? i remember when i was young my dad had some slotted mags with inserts that were adjustable ? ? ?

Thanks for the welcome W.O.T.P.O.S. The rims are aluminum but the pattern is so close it can't be done. The only thing I can do is manage to try to find new rims or trade someone tires, since I'm broke. Man, the 33s look so SWEET though!!! lol I'll find a way to figure it out one way or another. I've been getting some suggestions like yours and have looked into every one of them. Drilling the axel itself and redoing the pattern, changing axels, finding rims, trading tires, and possible disc conversion.... all so far hasn't actually worked yet.
I don't know about the inserts that are adjustable though. I've heard of a converter piece but can't find them to fit the s10 pattern... so that obviously isn't going to work.
Thanks.....
