Hi guys! I just joined your club and wanted to 'check in'. My son [mopar redneck] and I are members of PNW4x4s and we wanted to meet some more of the local four wheelin' nuts around here. We hope to see ya'll on a trail real soon!!

I would like to, but I blew out both front knuckle u-joints recently and have not repaired it yet. My 'repair' is to replace the Dana 44 with a Dana 70 that I have.

Thanks for the warm welcome! As soon as I get my axle fixed I hope to mix it up on a trail with ya'll. My son will be back from visiting his mother in N. Carolina at the end of this week so he can help me swap in the Dana 70 front axle. Who would of thought a little old 318 could snap a Dana 44 so easily? Oh well, I guess I will find the next weakest link after the 70 goes in. My money is on that short driveshaft between the transmission and the T.-case. I have already spit out one of the bearing cups on two separate occasions, so it may need an upgrade soon too.
