Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Russ, I own a 96 grand cherokee with a wussy 2" budget boost and 31's, 3.55's and open diffs. Haven't had the green to do much else to it lately. i just had enough money to put a locker and new gears in it and the tranny took a crap on me. so i am waiting for the arse raping from the tranny shop to see if i at least have enough left for the locker. I've think i've seen a few of you around before like rednecktrucker. I'm pretty sure he lives right down the street from me. While the jeep has been gone i got to spend time in the garage and finish my festiva powered buggy that i built from scratch. so now i have another toy to play with in the sand or trails besides the jeep and the quads. Ok, i'll shut up now. I'm just bored at work. hope to hit the trails with you guys soon. L8z, Russ

i hear that! but 2 hunskies for an aussie locker isn't bad. I live up on top of the hill above the HS on vista ridge court. and did you say in a different post that you can set up gears? I need some 4.10's or 4.11's put in. No tow package so i'm rolling with 3.55's with the I6 and it doesn't like the 31's much...... especially with the quads in tow.

When your ready to get the gears/locker, let me know... 5% over cost, which is usually a fair amount under 4 wheel parts.
Welcome to the board!

The last gears I installed was back in high school and all that info went up in smoke I run the I6 and small gears with 33's and don't have a problem but I have a 91 xj with the electric power shift. I think I can light up 33x12.5's for 50 feet with the rear welded and powerbrake it forever unless my switch is in pussy mode. I live out by Bald Peak but used to be up there.

topdown- well, as soon as i get the money sucking machine back from the tranny shop, i'll probably want to do the gears. all depends on how much they rape me for. how much for a set of 4.10's for the dana 30 zj style front and dana 35c rear? If i still have money left over, consider them ordered.
rednecktrucker- i think mine's just stuck in full time pussy mode. i couldn't even get a one-wheeled wonder out of it when i had the stock tires on it. all i got to say is gutt..... less! hahaha. you one of those guys i hear riding your dirt bikes over there all the time? i'm trying to find somewere close to ride the quad or drive the buggy without going all the way to browns camp or sand lake.

Not me anymore. We got mini bikes and go carts for the home wheelin. You could go to the Trask but most of it is shut down for the winter. Go to the main drag and head to Yamhill then turn to Flying M and follow it out to the end and thats were the end of it is and it goes all the way to the coast.
