im nearing the end of my SAS on my s10 picked up a front driveshaft from a ford exploder but its about a half inch too long so it will be shortened. does anyone have any tips or links they could share? i know i need to keep my driveline inphase but im mostly wondering how much slip in my slip joint i should run.

Ideally you would measure full droop and full compression to get your measurement.
