Fast swap ya kinda but my buddy Josh said my 3 core yota radiator would work fine with it just have to redo the bottom tube an such. But ya I'm gonna run a 14" E fan with it. And for noise my truck squeaks pops and shakes so I'm sure it wouldn't bother me to much more with more weight. But my buddy Josh's friend has a 350 cammed, ported intake, edelbrock intake and carb, with headers, also a th400 for pretty dam cheap

I am running a aluminum jegs radiator and I still over heat with a 18 inch fan. It never hurts to try it thou. The weight is kinda nice one you figure out how to use it to help you.

Jason might know Josh he lives right down the road from him but he knows his stuff when it comes to building motors. The only time I got hot was at the beach bash and I was rappin about 4,500-5000 for a good minute or so when I was stuck in the washout

I was having overheating issues with the sbc in my jeep. I'm using the 19"x 26" speedway radiator, and it's only about $140. I ended up removing the thermostat and my engine never gets above 190 degrees when racing back to back. I'm running a flex fan and hopefully will get a Torus fan in it soon to free up a little more power. Also, I'm think that I'm overheating because my water pump might be turning backwards as the motor is a Vortec which probably had a serpentine belt on it and now running a V-belt.

Better watch the cfm rating on e fans and build a shroud for em. Had two larger ones on my k10 and they didn't cool for poop. The shroud is very important believe or not, can mean the difference between running cool or warm. I ran factory ford v6 contour E-fans on a super charged 5.0 and I could stick my foot in it all day long in 95+ degree heat and not run warm. The contour fans had a shroud that would draw air across the whole rad vs just mounting the e fans directly to the rad which only pull air in the spots their mounted which is what I did on the chev. So just keep that in mind when your doing the cooling, it's even important on the mech fans too.

Ya I put my shroud back on my radiator a while ago and it runs at 190 and stays there unless I'm to the floor for a while

I say do it. I did a 327 Chevy turbo 350 205 with a Dana 44 and 12 bolt in my 95 4 runner a few year back. I've since moved on but that was the most fun that truck ever was. The funny thing is it drove better and got 18mpg vs 14 with the v6. As long as i kept my foot out of it. I ran a 3 core Chevy radiator with dual electric fan out of a car with the full fan shroud. It stayed cool. As far as the swap Chevy is really an easy swap, just mock everything up first it will save a lot of time in the end.

All I was told I needed was a chevy drivline F&R and we were gonna weld them to my yota drivelines, block hugged headers, and new motor mounts
