I'm thinking about making an adapter plate for my manx sand paddles. Right now the bolt pattern is the VW BIG 5. I would like to make a plate that would bolt to it converting it to both 5x4.5 (Jeep bolt pattern) and the Banshee bolt pattern. But I don't really know how to center the plate so that the rim will be centered once done.
I'm pretty sure it will be to much paddle for the CBR banshee, but would like to try it before buying different paddles. - if I could do it safely.

Would'nt they be to muh weight/ traction and break axles? Weight - they are on light alumimum rims so the weight is not much (For the jeep). May be heavy for the quad but it is worth a shot. (Maybe) Break axles - Nope. Jeep has the 8.8 - 31 splined axle shafts. CBR quad has LoneStar axle that is bigger then a Dana 60's axle. Like I said, I think they are to tall-wide for the quad. But they might work and they will work fine for the jeep, and I can use the slicks on the front of the jeep...

im gona say cutting the adapter in a perfect (ish) circle will be the easy part, getting the lug nut pattern centered will suck
maybe source a wheel you can cut up, center, and transfer the lug holes
edit... after looking at the banshee lug pattern 4x115.. thats dang near the same... i would say take a couple pieces of paper sketch the holes out and make sure you arnt going to have anything that tries to go near or in the same hole (sounds provocative huh)

They use to sell big VW 5lug adapters. My dad has a set for his. I think they sold an adapter that went to VW 4 lug and one that went to 5 lug ford.
