check front drive line to make sure it doesnt hit the tranny pan. its better to angle the dtrain or shift it just a hair then to have to mess with dual drive shafts

Me being the friend, kevin forgot to say i'm using a np208 transfer case. Welcome to Poorboy! It sounds like a nice build that will be great once completed. It appears to be a straight forward pull\swap. Like Willy said, Just keep an eye on your drive line angles and if it will hit when flexed. If so you can "clock" that np208 or angle the drive train a little to help. I would suggest using good motor mounts like what Buzzer just bought, so you don't have a problem down the road.

Yeah i have the clocking ring for it, plan on clocking it so it's flat hopefully, depending on angle and clearance. I bought some mounts out of jegs for a smallblock, they seem pretty nice 2me. thanks for the welcome!

any info on stock wiring elimination, another thing we were tooling around with is hooking the cruise control back up, seems to be a simple cable to linkage system.

I highly highly recomend scraping the wiring and starting fresh, Unless your doing a dirrect swap it is such a headache, and then every problem you have its much easier to fix. You can get a painless style kit on ebay for under 200 bucks I think. We did a simular swap in my buddies runner but 5.7 and I know everytime something comes up he regrets not cleaning everything up from the start. Since your carberated you will be alot easier.
